The Overland Limited name comes from Union Pacific's transcontinental train, that originated in Council Bluffs, Iowa and traveled across the great plains, over the rocky mountains and the continental divide, through the salt flats an the western lowlands, climbed the Sierras and back down to the gold coast of California.

The Overland Limited exists today as the California Zephyr, but we've reproduced the original drumhead logo of the original pioneers that traveled westward to untamed lands and the spirit of adventure.
